3. Business Arising from the A.G.M.
1. Special Races
The Management Committee will seek interest from Clubs as to having two (2) Special Middle Distance Races on the opposite Line of Flight to the Main Event.
2. Bird Qualification
The Management Committee have decided that all Birds that compete in the last Two (2) Races on each Line of Flight must qualify for these Races by having at least one (1) Race on the relevant Line of Flight.
3. Benzing Clocks
In regards to the addition of New
Clock By-law (14B) – ratified at the 2006 A.G.M. in the S.A.H.P.A. Inc.
Constitution – which states that –
All Benzing Clocks where the Race
Rubber Receptacle has no Spring Loaded Cap attached to same are required
to use Thimbles.
Benzing Brass Thimbles are available from Chown & Power Pty. Ltd at a cost of $3.00 ea.
6. TREASURER’S MONTHLY REPORT:
The Treasurer presented his report for the period 1st December 2005 through to 28th February 2006.
The report indicates a Profit has been recorded for this period, with no Major issues of concern.

1. Firing off Procedure - 2006:
The S.A.H.P.A. Inc. will utilize the Telstra Time Message Service for the Setting & Firing Off of Clocks for the 2006 Season.
2. S.A.H.P.A. Inc. Sub-Committees:
All Sub-Committees are now required to submit their intentions for the 2006 Season.
Any Sub-Committee that intends operating this year, must submit a list of Names of the Committee Members for the Management Committees’ Approval.
3. Freight Tender – 2006:
Freight Tenders are now invited for all Races for 2006 Season.

4. Bird Qualification: 2006
ALL YOUNG BIRDS must have flown a Club Race on the Relevant Line of Flight to be eligible to compete in the Derbies.
A Young bird may fly both Derbies, so long as it has flown one (1) Club Race on each Line of Flight.
*PLEASE NOTE:
ALL BIRDS must fly at least
one (1) Race on the Relevant Line of Flight to Be eligible to compete
in the Last Two (2) Races on each Line of Flight. i.e.
In order for a Bird to compete
in Marla and Coober Pedy (The last two (2) Races on the North Line) they
must have had a previous Race on that respective Line.
The same applies in respect to Coleambally and Temora on the East Line.

7. S.A.H.P.A. Inc. Headquarters’ Cleaning Contract:
Applications are now being called for the Contract Position of Headquarters’ Cleaning.
The Baulderstone Road Complex is to be cleaned (Toilets, Office, Hall Interior and Canteen Area) once a Fortnight (Minimum) in the Race Season & once a Month in the Off Season.
Applicants will be required to List Price/Quote for the conduct of such Contract.

Members Please be AWARE – The S.A.H.P.A. Inc. does not recognize Life Rings with the NPA & ACS Prefix.
Any Birds rung with these Rings will be ineligible to compete in all Races that come under the Jurisdiction of the S.A.H.P.A. Inc.
