TREASURER’S MONTHLY REPORT: The Treasurer notified the Management Committee that all relevant Financial Records for the 2005 Season are now in the hands of the Auditor. The Financial Position of the S.A.H.P.A. Inc. will be available to all Members in the advice of the Annual General Meeting to be held on Monday the 20th February 2006. Moved/Seconded/Carried 6. CORRESPONDENCE IN: 1. Letter from Mrs. R. Kearns – Application for the Position of S.A.H.P.A. Ring Secretary for the 2006 Season. Action: Secretary to file for when Applications are considered. 2. Minutes of the Adelaide 10,000 Meeting – 7.12.05 – Enclosing a Financial Statement for the 2005 Season. The Adelaide 10,000 Committee for the 2006 Season will consist of the Following People:- Chairperson R. Seedsman Secretary B. Seedsman Treasurer I. Durrant Loft Manager L. Smith R. Abraham B. Donovan K. Waters 3. Letter from Mr. R. Bampton & Mr. N. McLeod – Advising of their intention to resign from the Millswood Central Racing Pigeon Club in order to form the Parkholme Racing Pigeon Club. A copy of a letter from Mr. R. Bampton & Mr. N. Mcleod sent to the Millswood Central Racing Pigeon Club advising of their willingness to Form a Group. 4. Email from the South Australian Racing Pigeon Federation – Regarding a Motion passed at their A.G.M., requesting that the S.A.H.P.A. Inc. Ring secretary check the S.A.R.P.F. Race Results (Prize money Positions) in respect to Bird Ownership. Action: The General Secretary will liaise with the Ring Secretary to seek her opinion, bearing in mind the extra workload required. The S.A.R.P.F. also requesting if it is possible for the S.A.H.P.A. Inc. To compile a Members’ Computerised Ring Register. Action: Further Investigation will be carried out in regards to the amount of work required To formulate a Ring Register Data Base. 5. Email from Mr. R. Billing – Application for the Position of S.A.H.P.A. Inc. Convoyer for the 2006 Season. Action: Secretary to file for when Applications are considered. 7. CORRESPONDENCE OUT: 1. Fax to the Adelaide Animal Expo Co-ordinator – Confirmation of the S.A.H.P.A. Inc. Site Allocation for the Adelaide Expo to be held on 11th – 13th March 2006. 2. Letter to a Member of the Salisbury Racing Pigeon Club – Advising the Management Committees’ decision regarding his position with the Salisbury Council over the re-allocation of his Birds to new Premises. 3. Letter to Mr. R. Billing – Response to his concerns about the Convoyer’s Health & Safety while carrying out the Duties of S.A.H.P.A. Convoyer, also Thanking Mr. R. Billing for his efforts over the 2005 Season. 4. Letter to the Nth East Inv. Pigeon Club – Regarding the Management Committees’ decision of the Club’s request to fly the Lyndhurst Open Event prior to the Lyndhurst Y.B.C. 5. Letter to Mr. M. Agar (Solicitor) – Requesting assistance in regards to an Association Member. Moved/Carried – Correspondence In & Out – Confirmed 8. GENERAL BUSINESS: 1. 2006 – Club Membership Forms: CLUB SECRETARIES – PLEASE NOTE! Club Membership Forms will be forwarded in early January 2006 Capitation Fees for the 2006 Season have been set at $55.00 per Member. 2. REMINDER – S.A.H.P.A. Inc. OFFICE BEARER POSITIONS In Accordance with S.A.H.P.A. Inc. Rules Nominations are now called for the Following Positions: General Secretary, Assistant Secretary, Treasurer & Ring Secretary. Nominations must be in the Hands of the general Secretary by Friday 13th January 2006 – All Applicants must be Financial Members of the S.A.H.P.A. Inc. A List of General Secretary’s Duties is available by phoning 8258 2516. All other Duties and Honorariums will be discussed with the Management Committee and Treasurer at a Later Date. Headquarters Date: Friday 3rd February – 2006 Time: 7.30 pm It is anticipated that a Sausage Sizzle and a Ten (10) Bird Squeaker Sale will precede the commencement of Dr Colin Walker’s address.
