the longest race of the year ,each year on the opposite line of flight.

trophy will be called the NEWLAND CUP which will be a perpetual cup with a
small cup given to the winner.

9.GENERAL BUSINESS.
1.
SAFETY ON THE LOADING DOCK: G.Watson,D.Walker and D.Thalbourne have been to Crown
lifts to look for suitable lifting units to use for loading of birds into race
unit that makes the loading of birds easier for members.We are looking for any
new ideas from members for loading of the main unit ,so if you have a new idea
let the General Secretary know.
2. BIRD RETURNS FROM CLUBS: Clubs please ensure Bird Returns
are returned to the General Secretary every week so we can get an idea of all
returns for future racing purposes Bird
return sheets are available from the General Secretary.
3. SATELLITE
PHONE: Quotes from Pivotel regards purchase
of a satellite phone for the convoyer. Purchase of the phone has been
approved. Action: General Secretary to
follow up.
